Why I Started Good + Plenty
For the past sixteen years, I have built businesses in the home and design industry, helping clients create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and reflective of who they are. Through that work, I developed a deep appreciation for the role home plays in our lives. Home is where we gather, rest, celebrate, heal, and build our future. It is foundational to human flourishing.
Over the years, I became increasingly aware of two realities existing side by side. I saw beautiful furnishings, artwork, lighting, and household goods leaving homes simply because styles changed or spaces were being redesigned. At the same time, families in our community were moving into empty apartments after experiencing homelessness, disaster, displacement, or hardship.
The contrast stayed with me.
I believe everyone deserves more than shelter. They deserve a home that is functional, welcoming, and beautiful—a place that reflects their needs, their personality, and their sense of belonging.
The Good + Plenty Project was born from a simple idea: what if the abundance already present in our community could be used to help families create homes where they can truly flourish?
From the very beginning, creation was intended to be both good and beautiful. We believe beauty is not a luxury reserved for a few, but something every family deserves to experience. By thoughtfully furnishing homes and connecting neighbors with neighbors, we help transform empty spaces into places of comfort, dignity, and possibility.
Because everyone deserves more than a place to live.
Everyone deserves a place to call home.
